Brand Manager, Marketing Effectiveness

Location: London Contract: Full time, permanent

Team description

Central Brand & Marketing builds the campaigns, trackers and insight that show whether SumUp's marketing actually works, across six markets and two very different audiences: consumer and business owners. This role sits at the centre of that picture, turning tracker data into targets, forecasts and recommendations that media, creative and the wider business act on, and taking the lead on a new competitive insights hub that will become the company's source of truth on competition and market performance. It's a chance to shape how SumUp reads its market from the ground up, working closely with the Media & Strategic Partnership, Creative, Growth, Sales and Operations teams along the way.

What you'll do
  • Run SumUp's consumer and B2B brand trackers across six markets, keeping the data accurate and the targets realistic
  • Turn tracker results and market insight into clear recommendations that shape campaigns, pricing and sales conversations
  • Own upper and mid funnel campaign reporting with the Media team, then share what worked and why with other marketers
  • Build and launch a new competitive insights hub that becomes the single place the business goes for market intelligence
  • Track vendor deliverables and contracted rights so partnership data and trackers are fully used, not left on the shelf
What you'll bring
  • Experience in brand management, brand marketing or market research, gained in an agency or in-house team.
  • Solid understanding of brand tracking and how to measure upper and mid funnel campaign performance.
  • Ability to connect data and insight to real business decisions, not just report on numbers.
  • Comfort working independently across ambiguity, multiple markets and tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with a track record of presenting findings clearly to a non specialist audience.

Nice to have: experience managing brands in FMCG or another brand driven industry, and hands-on use of Tableau, Google Analytics or similar tools.

You're likely to thrive here if you're curious, strategic, a good listener and communicator, determined, productive, deadline driven and independent.
