Role Scope and Accountabilities  

 

Guinness is one of the most iconic brands in the world and is currently enjoying an exceptional period of growth as the No.1 beer in Great Britain. With significant momentum behind us, there remains substantial opportunity ahead as we set out to double the size of the brand. This role will cover the following:  

 

  • Support delivery of highimpact Guinness marketing programmes contributing to the continued growth of the No.1 beer brand in Great Britain. 

  • Win in Sport: Support the planning and execution of campaigns and partnerships that make Guinness the goto choice for football and rugby fans, working closely with agencies and crossfunctional teams to bring ideas to life. 

  • Win at Home: Help build desire and demand for Guinness athome occasions, supporting activity that drives relevance, consideration, and trial across key moments and rituals. 

  • Support endtoend delivery of brand campaigns and activations from briefing and development through to execution and evaluation. ensuring plans are delivered at pace and to a high standard. 

  • Track performance, capture learnings, and apply insight to improve future activity and marketing effectiveness. 

 

About You:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in brand, consumer, or marketing roles, with a strong track record of delivering brand and commercial results. 

  • Experience supporting or leading endtoend marketing campaigns, working with agencies across brand, activation, and media execution. 

  • Creative and commercially astute marketer, able to demonstrate sound marketing judgement across brand building, activation, innovation, and channel execution. 

  • Strong consumer and cultural curiosity, with a genuine passion for understanding behaviours, trends, and occasions that unlock growth. 

  • Comfortable operating in a fastpaced, matrixed environment, showing resilience, adaptability, and a proactive mindset when faced with ambiguity. 

  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, able to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and agency partners to drive alignment and results. 

  • High personal accountability for delivery and performance, combining openness to feedback with a strong desire to learn, develop, and continuously improve.
