Daintta are a rapidly growing, values-driven team of specialists who work with government clients across Cyber Security, National Security, Law Enforcement, Telecommunications and Healthcare. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bid Writer to join our team on a full-time basis at a 'Manager' grade. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling and winning bids, primarily within the UK Public Sector. This role involves working closely with our Subject Matter Experts and business development team to ensure that our bids are not only competitive but also align with our strategic goals and the specific needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and edit high-quality bid content that clearly articulates our value proposition and win themes.
- Work collaboratively with Subject Matter Experts and the business development team to gather the necessary information for each bid.
- Manage the end-to-end bid process, including coordinating and reviewing input from various stakeholders.
- Ensure all bids are compliant with client requirements and deadlines and internal governance processes.
- Continuously improve and update bid templates and content to enhance quality and effectiveness.
- Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends, client needs, and competitor strategies.
- Support post-bid activities such as bid debriefs and lessons learned sessions.

Skills / Knowledge.
The role requires the following key skills / knowledge, non-exhaustively:
- Demonstrable experience in writing successful, winning bids, preferably within the UK Public Sector (3+ years preferred)
- A background in business consulting, with experience working in consultancies.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and bid management tools.
- Bachelor's Degree required
Location: Hybrid, 2-3 days in our London Office
