What you will do

Johnson Controls is looking for an experienced Metasys IT Specialist to support Microsoft’s global portfolio of campuses and data centres. In this role, you’ll own the build, deployment, and upgrade of Metasys Building Automation System servers worldwide, helping ensure secure, reliable, and standardised systems across mission‑critical environments.

How you will do it

  • Build, configure, and deploy Metasys ADX/ADS servers in line with Microsoft‑approved standards.

  • Lead global upgrades, migrations, and platform modernisation initiatives.

  • Support cybersecurity requirements, including patching, certificates, hardening, and baseline compliance.

  • Troubleshoot complex Windows Server, SQL, and Metasys issues (Tier 3 level).

  • Work closely with Microsoft IT, networking, and operations teams across regions and time zones.

  • Create and maintain global documentation, templates, and deployment standards.

What we look for

Preferred

  • Strong hands-on experience with Building Automation System and data centers.

  • Strong expertise in Windows Server, SQL Server, networking, and cybersecurity.

  • Experience supporting large-scale, enterprise or global environments.

  • Clear communication skills and confidence working in distributed, international teams.

Preferred

  • Experience with Johnson Controls Metasys (ADX/ADS, SCT, NAE/NCE, SNE/SNC).

  • Metasys certifications (MSEA, MSEAS).

  • Experience with enterprise monitoring tools.

  • Background in secure OT/IT or mission-critical environments.
