This Backend Engineer role
Building our core Smart Financial Platform further that helps multinational companies manage all of their accounting with AI and a great UX.
Keeping focus on customer needs while implementing robust and scalable technical solutions.
Developing and optimizing backend services, APIs, and infrastructure to support our high-performance frontend applications.
Your qualifications:
4+ years of experience building robust backend systems with solid understanding of server-side architecture and API design.
Strong command of backend programming languages, with the ability to write clean, efficient code.
Proficiency in Kotlin / Java, JVM, PostgreSQL, AWS
Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and DB schemas that scale.
Deeply care about quality - you actively participate in code reviews, write comprehensive unit and integration tests, and thoroughly QA your work.
Great communicator who collaborates effectively with frontend engineers on API design and cross-functional teams on system architecture.
You can commit and ship production-ready code that is secure, scalable, performant, and maintains well.
Practical experience using AI or emerging technology tools to improve productivity, insight, or decision-making, with the ability to apply first-principles thinking to new problems.
Bonus points:
Experience with accounting or companies' finance flows (accounts payable, invoicing, payments etc).
Building AI-naitive robust and scalable applications.
You've been thriving in high-growth startups.
