The RoleWe are looking for an Azure Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating, managing, and optimizing cloud-based environments to support our core applications and services. You’ll work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and architects to ensure our platforms are scalable, secure, and reliable.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of Azure resources, implementing best practices for cost-management and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support application and data needs.
- Implement security best practices, compliance measures, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or in a related field with a strong focus on Azure technologies.
- Solid understanding of Azure services like Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, or Bicep.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices, such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices, network architecture, and operational monitoring.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a passion for continuous improvement.
