What you will do:
- RAN Operations: Assist in the deployment, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of RAN nodes and functions
- Automation Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of automation scripts to streamline operations
- AI Integration: Participate in AI-driven use-cases, including the automation of processes using AI agents and LLMs
- Collaborative Projects: Work alongside team members on projects involving complex 5G feature testing and validation
- Documentation and Reporting: Help in maintaining clear documentation and reporting of activities and results.
The skills you bring:
- 2.7+ GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent
- Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, Master's, or PhD on a full-time basis at a 4-year college or university at the time of the internship
- Be available to work 40 hours per week during the summer or Co-Op term
- Proficiency in Python, with familarity in libraries such as NumPy, pandas, and SciPy
- Familiarity with frameworks including scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras
- Knowledge with tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Plotly
- Knowledge and experience in using LLM APIs, understanding of LLM-agents and AI agentic frameworks and RAG
- Knowledge with Kubernetes, including Container Network Interface (CNI)
- Linux knowledge and bash scripting skills
- Keen interest in the RAN domain.
Additional skills:
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, ML workflows, and Argo Workflows
- Understanding of architectures such as CNNs, RNNs, and Transformers
- Prior knowledge or experience in the RAN domain
