Make an Impact at RSM UK

Are you an experienced audit professional with a passion for data analytics, commercial development and senior stakeholder engagement?

We are seeking an Associate Director (Bespoke Analytics Lead) to join RSM UK’s Audit Data Analytics function - a team embedded within our audit practice, working alongside engagement teams to improve audit quality, support risk-based methodology and enhance the experience for clients and teams.

This is a senior leadership opportunity where you will own the commercial, operational and people strategy for our bespoke analytics capability, leading a team of ACA-qualified auditors delivering client-specific analytical solutions across the audit practice.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing function where your relationship-building, audit expertise and leadership will help shape how analytics supports audit delivery across the firm.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Owning and developing strategic relationships with senior audit partners and RIs, identifying opportunities and driving adoption of analytics across the practice

  • Leading the commercial positioning of analytics in major tenders and key engagements, confidently presenting, influencing and owning outcomes

  • Setting the strategic direction for the bespoke analytics capability, shaping how the function evolves, scales and delivers value across audit

  • Overseeing the operating model for bespoke analytics delivery, ensuring demand, prioritisation and resourcing are managed effectively and sustainably

  • Building and developing a high-performing team, creating clear progression pathways and embedding a culture of quality, accountability and continuous improvement

What we are looking for:

Are you someone who thrives on building relationships, leading senior conversations and turning analytical capability into meaningful outcomes? If you are commercially minded, confident influencing partners and RIs, and passionate about developing people, this role could be perfect for you.

Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:

  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified, with an audit background and strong understanding of audit methodology

  • Proven ability to lead senior stakeholder conversations and drive commercial outcomes independently

  • Experience taking analytical projects from concept through to active production in a professional services environment

  • Proficiency with data analytics tooling — whether no-code / low-code platforms (such as Alteryx, Dataiku, KNIME or equivalent) or cloud-based analytics environments

  • Experience leading tender processes, including presenting to clients, with the confidence to lead the analytics narrative and influence outcomes

  • Confidence managing and developing mixed-grade teams, including early-career colleagues, with the ability to build structured development pathways

What we can offer you:

We recognise that our people are our most important assets. That’s why we offer a flexible reward and benefits package that will help you have fulfilling experience, both in and out of work.

  • 27 days holiday, with the option to purchase additional days

  • Lifestyle, health, and wellbeing benefits including financial wellbeing tools, electric car scheme, and access to a virtual GP

  • Access to a suite of 300+ on-demand development courses built by our in-house talent team

  • Hybrid working, balancing team collaboration, client engagement, and focused delivery

  • Clear progression pathway within a function growing in scale and strategic importance across the RSM network
