Your role @ CHANEL:

To support the opening of our brand-new Global Headquarters in the heart of Mayfair at 38 Berkeley Square (38Y), we are seeking a dynamic and experienced AV Production Manager.

That role would oversee the planning, execution, and management of audio-visual aspects of corporate events and productions. This role involves coordinating technical teams, managing budgets, and ensuring high-quality audio-visual experiences for multiple internal clients. Responsibilities include pre-production, production on-site event delivery, and post-event/production reporting.

Client Relationship, Service Management:

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, attending meetings to understand their event requirements, and providing expert guidance on AV solutions.

Pre-Production Planning:

Creating detailed technical drawings, overseeing design and scenic specifications, coordinating with internal teams (technical, creative, etc.), and managing project timelines and budgets.

On-Site Event Management:

Supervising the installation and operation of AV equipment, managing crew and technical staff, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring a seamless event experience.

Budget Management:

Maintaining cost control throughout the project lifecycle, generating accurate quotations and proposals, and managing expenses related to AV equipment, personnel, and other resources.

Post-Event Reporting:

Producing comprehensive project documentation, including health and safety reports, floor plans, and invoicing support.

Collaboration:

Working closely with Communication and events teams to identify new business opportunities and ensuring effective communication across all departments.

What you will bring to the role :

Possessing a strong understanding of audio, video, lighting, and staging technologies, as well as experience with relevant software and equipment.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role, preferably within the AV or event industry.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong technical knowledge of AV equipment and systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and basic CAD/BIM software.
  • Experience with rental management systems.
  • Experience in XR Studio and immersive production
  • A client-focused approach and the ability to build strong relationships.
