About This Role
As an Associate Project Manager, you will work with project stakeholders across Morningstar Wealth to manage and implement high-quality and timely project deliveries. You will participate in face-to-face meetings and conference calls with internal and external stakeholders, manage project deliverables, as well as create and manage project documentation. Attention to detail and the ability to connect assigned tasks to great client outcomes and organization goals are essential for success in this position.
What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with project managers to identify and deliver components of key projects and initiatives, including business cases, project plans, and documentation


  • Work with project stakeholders from a variety of disciplines, including operations, distribution, product management, and technology, to define and document detailed business and technical requirements.


  • Identify, track, and communicate project risks and mitigation plans


  • Prepare and provide regular project status updates to stakeholders


  • Work with Wealth teams to ensure high-quality. on-time, and in-scope project deliverables


  • Develop skills that will enable you to grow within the role and begin to lead more complex projects


Who You Are

  • Some experience working in project management: You have some experience working as a Project Manager or managing projects within your current role (we're expecting this to be a great fit for anyone with between 1-3 years experience)


  • Financially-Savvy: You have a good understanding of financial markets and the asset management industry. (Preferably with a degree related to finance but this isn't essential).


  • Relationship Builder: Your excellent communication skills and client-focused, consultative approach enable you to build strong relationships and positively influence your stakeholders.
