Provide hands-on HR generalist support for the London office, with emphasis on GTM teams. Profound is the marketing platform for the age of AI search. The way brands reach people is being rewritten — AI models like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Mode are now the answer layer between companies and their customers. We built the platform marketers use to understand, measure, and win in that world: the analytics, intelligence, and agent automation that turn AI search from a threat into a competitive advantage.

We went from 0 to a $1B valuation in 18 months. Revenue grew 100x last year. Our customers include 15% of the Fortune 500 like Walmart, Wayfair and U.S. Bank, and innovators like Ramp, MongoDB, and Figma. We are backed by Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, LSVP, and Khosla Ventures — and we are moving fast enough that the people joining now are building the playbook everyone who comes after them will run.

About the Role

We're looking for an Associate People Partner to provide broad-ranging HR support out of our London office. Our London team is primarily Go-to-Market, so you'll get the most hands-on exposure to GTM: coaching sales and CS managers, supporting a commission-eligible population, and helping a revenue org scale. But this is a true generalist role: you'll also own broad-ranging HR work across every function in the office, not just GTM, and you'll get exposure to the full employee lifecycle as we build our People function in the UK from the ground up.

You'll work closely with managers and employees on everything from onboarding and policy questions to performance management and employee relations, and you'll partner closely with People Partners across the company (including our GTM-focused partners in the US) to keep programs, policy, and practice consistent across regions.

This role suits someone early in their HR career who wants hands-on, varied experience with a strong tilt toward supporting a commercial team, and the chance to help shape how our People function runs in a new, fast-growing office.

What You'll Do
  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for employees and managers on HR questions across the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, policy interpretation, benefits, and performance management.

  • Support GTM managers and employees most closely, given the London office's Go-to-Market focus, while remaining the go-to HR resource for every team in the office.

  • Support employee relations matters with sound judgment and discretion, escalating and partnering with senior People Partners as needed.

  • Help coordinate and run core HR cycles: performance reviews, compensation planning, and engagement surveys, for the London office.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, and help build out People processes and documentation as the London office grows.

  • Support hiring and onboarding logistics in partnership with Talent Acquisition, ensuring new hires have a smooth start.

  • Help ensure compliance with UK employment law and best practices, in consultation with senior People Partners and external counsel as needed.

  • Coach managers on foundational people management skills, including guidance specific to GTM structures like commission plans and quota-carrying roles.

  • Partner closely with People Partners across the company to share context, stay aligned on policy, and bring a London/EMEA perspective into company-wide People programs.

  • Contribute to building a strong, connected culture in the London office as we scale.

What We're Looking For
  • 3-5 years of HR experience in a generalist capacity, ideally at a fast-paced or high-growth tech company; exposure to a Sales, Customer Success, or other GTM/commercial client group is a strong plus.

  • Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable being a first point of contact for employees at all levels.

  • Excellent judgment and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential matters.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

  • Comfort with HR systems and basic people data/reporting.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Location

This is an on-site role based in our London office, designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and meaningful impact.

For this role, the expected base salary range is £83,200 - £107,300. Profound’s total compensation package is designed to be competitive and includes base salary, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks. Final compensation will depend on factors such as your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will be determined during the interview process. Our recruiting team will share more details about the full compensation package and benefits as you move through hiring.
