Job Description
We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced qualified finance professional to make a difference at Kraft Heinz in an exciting role - Global Business Services, International - Associate Accounting Manager. The role sits within the Global Business Services (GBS) function, serving markets in the International Zone. You'll be working in a hard-working team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level, reporting to the Group Lead, Global Business Services, International - Accounting to Report Lead.
Your primary responsibility will be to support the Accounting to Report lead with key projects and deliverables, including the continued global roll out and operations of the Intercompany Hub, as well as enhancing operational delivery with our third-party partners through continual improvement & standardisation of processes. Key projects include month end close optimisation, balance sheet reconciliation enhancement including Blackline Analytics, and journal automation. Ultimately, you will be responsible for supporting us in implementing the agenda for transformation, putting our customers' experiences firmly centre of what we do. The role is supported in delivery by third party provider staff in Bangalore, India (~70 heads).
What's on the Menu?

  • Process and execution excellence
  • Manage the third-party team/providers to deliver a seamless financial statement close process including matching of global intercompany balances, ensuring compliance with internal policies, US GAAP and other relevant accounting standards, legal regulations and execution playbooks
  • Work closely alongside our key partners (Global, Zone and BU level Controllership, F,P&A teams and CFOs, Global and zone Treasury, Internal Controls teams) to facilitate project delivery including the resolution of key accounting issues in the delivery of our services and ensure long term resolution
  • Monitor the quality of work across applicable processes and drive corrective actions
  • Coordinate and support the team in responses to internal and external audit for GBS processes, ensuring findings are addressed comprehensively and on a timely basis
  • Determine and deliver the Continual Improvement Programme to implement best-practice and standardization across markets served, both in the business and with our partners
  • Develop, manage, and coach all members of the Global Intercompany Hub team to ensure they have the appropriate skills, knowledge, and training to better serve our business customers.
  • Champion the "GBS" brand in the business by acting as a subject matter expert, offering domain and IT expertise for Accounting processes and systems, alongside advocating the use of shared services as appropriate

  • Execute actions to close gaps in our efficiency and service versus benchmark data
  • Utilise PDCA methodology to approach the opportunities, coming up with clear action plans to address the root causes identified and unlock value
  • Partner with the business to advise and present meaningful solutions for key business issues

  • Education - Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA etc)
  • Passion - Customer centric delivery and CPG companies
  • IT - Working knowledge of Blackline, SAP, Hyperion (HFM). Tableau and Excel skills preferable
  • 4+ years relevant Finance and Accounting experience
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and lead teams
  • Propensity to manage third party vendor relationships, including shared services providers and consultants
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process excellence and delivery - agile / design thinking / six sigma methodology experience desired
  • Experience in working with internal & external control frameworks and auditors
  • Learning agility to adapt to rapidly evolving landscapes across technology, people delivery models and process & policy change
  • Language Knowledge - English, fluent
