As an Index Exotic Options Trader, you will manage EMEA Exotic Index books, price equity exotic structures, collaborate with traders, and conduct market research to identify risks and opportunities.
Position DescriptionAs an Index Exotic Options Trader, you will play a key role in expanding the EMEA Index Exotics franchise by working closely with both sales and trading teams. You will partner with traders, quants, and IT to design and enhance risk‑management tools that support the team’s performance and strengthen overall P&L. In addition, you will be responsible for preparing reports on trading opportunities, conducting in‑depth market research, and analysing market conditions to identify both risks and potential sources of value.Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Risk managing EMEA Exotic on Index books
- Pricing equity exotic structures for sales and clients
- Collaborating with traders and quants to develop risk management tools
- Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments and strategies
- Knowledge of equity derivatives exotics products
- Preparing/working on trading opportunities & PnL Attribution & business analysis
- Conducting market research on potential area of the business expansion
- Monitoring and analysing market conditions & news & evens to identify risks and opportunities
- Degree holder in Finance, Maths, Engineering or related discipline(s)
- Good knowledge of Equity Derivatives
- Minimum of 3 years of Exotic business experience
- Coding skills are preferred
- Strong work ethic and motivation
- Ability to think fast and critically, solve various problems arising from trading, risk and operations
- Ability to work under pressure and collaborate in a team
