Position DescriptionThe position is within Front Office, reporting to Equity Derivatives Department. The role will work directly with the Front Office Trading, Sales, Structurers and Quantitative desks covering trade booking for the Equity Derivatives products. Key Areas of Responsibility
- Check automated bookings for Delta One, Flow and Exotic Derivatives Products
- Trade booking of vanilla instruments, including vanilla equity options, stocks, futures, TRS, IRS, FX (swap/ spot/ NDF) across global underlying
- Trade booking of Structured Products, including Autocallables, Sharkfin, Boosters, BEN, FCN, ELN etc
- Process life cycle events, including expiries, early termination, redemption by cash/ physical delivery, coupon pay-outs, corporate action adjustments, etc.
- Process trade confirmations and term sheets
- Setup and send valuation reports to clients
- Prepare periodic/ ad-hoc trade summaries for internal reporting purposes
- Handle other daily tasks such as PnL reconciliations liaising with Product Control, Operations, Finance
- Degree holder in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related discipline(s).
- Basic understanding of vanilla and exotic products for equities
- Detail oriented, focus in accuracy and time management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
- Willingness to learn and not afraid to take on new tasks
- Ability to quickly learn new payoffs, booking models and concepts
- Ideally 3-5 years of Trade Support experience either working with a Trading Desk or in a Middle Office function on the trading desk
- Any experience in using Calypso is a plus
