The Opportunity

As Associate Director of SEO & Content, you'll be responsible for team leadership and hands-on client success.  You'll manage 2-4 SEO consultants, with your primary objective being to ensure the team is driving client results, maintaining a positive client relationship and ensuring client retention and growth.

Core Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Organic Growth, you'll:

  • Lead and develop a team of 2-4 SEO consultants, ensuring consistent quality and results
  • Develop relationships and oversee content partners that help deliver quality content that power our strategic approach to organic growth for clients
  • Drive demonstrable pipeline growth and ROI on the client’s investment with Powered by Search
  • Oversee strategic direction of our client engagements and drive innovation across the agency
  • Maintain executive-level client relationships and communication
  • Identify and execute cross-sell and upsell opportunities within your portfolio
  • Contribute to agency thought leadership and best practices
  • Coordinate with Digital PR team for content promotion alignment

  • Have a proven track record of driving multi-million dollar B2B SaaS organic and content focused campaigns
  • Excel at both strategic thinking and tactical execution
  • Demonstrate strong leadership abilities and emotional intelligence

  • Are naturally curious and continuously learning
  • Can translate complex paid media concepts into clear business value

Required Experience

  • 2+ years of team leadership or management experience
  • 5+ years of SEO experience, with at least 2 years managing B2B SaaS accounts
  • Demonstrated success managing enterprise-level accounts
  • Deep expertise in Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, with strong knowledge of Content Optimization Tools and Platforms
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms (Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Track record of achieving or exceeding MQL and SQL targets
  • Remote work experience and excellent virtual communication skills
