At PPRO, our mission is to simplify access to local payment methods and our vision is to enable the sale of goods and services to anyone in the world using their preferred way to pay. We empower partners such as Ant Group, PayPal and Stripe to access new markets, connect with more customers, and accelerate their growth.

Our strength lies in our diverse global team with 50+ nationalities and 10+ international locations- all united around one goal – to deliver the best possible products and services to our partners and customers. While our company mission is to keep innovating global commerce, our internal mission is to #chooseaction, #beopen, #thinkcustomer, #gofurther and #wintogether

The Purpose:

PPRO is on a mission to 3x in size by 2028. To get there, we need a strategic thinker who thrives in a lean, high-impact environment. As Associate Marketing Director, you will be the bridge between our complex payments infrastructure and our market-facing narrative.

This is a high-impact "player-coach" role. You will own the Product Marketing function and mentor a direct report, but you are also someone who loves rolling up your sleeves. You will own the high-level GTM process for our core regions (Europe and LatAm) while ensuring every piece of collateral and every campaign reflects our position as the leading local payments provider.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Strategic GTM leadership: Develop and evolve the overarching GTM framework for PPRO’s strategic pillars. You aren’t just "supporting" launches; you are architecting how we win.
  • The "player-coach" balance: Directly manage and develop a Product Marketing Manager. You will set the high-level strategy while simultaneously drafting core messaging and "joining the dots" on high-priority projects.
  • Cross-marketing collaboration: Act as the strategic "hub" for the marketing team, interacting with the rest of the team, for example:
  • with the Campaigns Manager: Define the target segments and value propositions that fuel our demand generation and lead engine.
  • with the Comms & Content Manager: Ensure our product positioning is woven into our brand narrative, PR, and thought leadership, making complex technical concepts accessible and compelling.
  • Sales enablement & revenue alignment: Partner with the Commercial leads to embed our playbooks Playbooks for Europe and LatAm, providing the tools (pitch decks, product sheets, etc.) that allow our sales team to win.
  • Market intelligence: Own competitive intelligence by leading customer and market research from a product marketing perspective, and supporting other research initiatives across the business where it’s led by eg. product, strategy functions. You will translate customer insights into activations that directly influence revenue.
  • Technical translation: Distill PPRO’s local payment reach and technical capabilities into clear business value for PSPs and large merchants.

What makes you a great fit:

  • Hands-on seniority: 10+ years of B2B Marketing experience. You have the executive presence to report to the CMO, but you still enjoy the craft of building a great slide deck or refining a product narrative.
  • Fintech/payments expertise: Deep experience in high-growth fintech is essential. You understand the nuances of regulated environments and complex sales cycles.
  • Collaborative team player: You have a proven ability to work across a lean marketing team, ensuring your product expertise translates into successful campaigns and content.
  • Strategy to execution: You can switch from an exec-level strategy discussion to a tactical brainstorming session without missing a beat.
  • Data-driven: Proficient in using tools like Looker and Salesforce to help prove the ROI of marketing activities and drive decision-making.
  • PPRO Principle alignment: You naturally #chooseaction to get things done and #thinkcustomer to ensure our product remains the market's first choice.
