Company Description

Medicine moves forward here. So will you.

Clinical trials, safety studies, and audits make safe and innovative pharmaceutical-led care possible. As part of Ergomed Group, you help patients benefit so they experience more of life’s meaningful moments. Biopharmaceutical companies are our clients. Patients are our purpose.

Ergomed Group brings together Ergomed CRO, PrimeVigilance, Prudentia, and ADAMAS Consulting to help biopharmaceutical companies develop, deliver and safeguard therapies in oncology, rare disease and other complex areas of medicine. Across the Group, our teams turn the signals that clinical trials, safety systems and quality data generate into insight that helps bring safer treatments to patients around the world.

The science and analysis that guides our work is demanding. And this is where we excel. What defines us, though, is how we work together. Across countries, cultures and time zones, we bring kindness, curiosity and a shared sense of purpose to work that genuinely matters. Ideas are welcome here. Growth is expected. And every person has room to make a real difference to patients' lives.

Whether you are early in your career or bringing decades of experience, we want you to feel valued for what you do and for who you are. If that sounds like the place you have been looking for, we would love to hear from you.

Job Description

Shape the People experience across Ergomed's European footprint

We're looking for a Regional Associate Director, People Operations to lead our HR function across our European region. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who thrives on solving complex people challenges, coaching and developing local HR teams, and building the kind of HR infrastructure that lets a fast-growing, regulated business scale with confidence.

What you'll do

Lead HR operations across the region You'll provide direction and support to local People/HR generalists, overseeing how HR policies, procedures and programs are implemented so they stay aligned with both company goals and local realities.

Be the go-to expert for complex HR matters From employee relations cases and workplace investigations to disciplinary processes, you'll be the subject-matter expert local teams turn to when things get complicated — working alongside them to resolve escalated issues efficiently and fairly. You'll also liaise directly with staff representatives across relevant countries, attending meetings and advising on employment matters.

Champion engagement and development You'll support initiatives that boost engagement, satisfaction and growth, partnering with local teams, learning specialists and HR Business Partners to spot training needs and turn them into real development opportunities.

Keep us compliant and continuously improving You'll ensure our practices meet labour law and HR regulatory requirements across your region, running audits and assessments to spot gaps and drive improvements.

Turn data into direction You'll gather and analyse regional HR metrics, translating trends into practical recommendations, and prepare reports for senior management.

Guide us through change Mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, reorganisation — you'll play a key role in managing the HR side of organisational change within your region.

Qualifications

What you'll bring

  • Significant experience in a commercial and regional HR business role at HR Manager or Associate Director level. Experience supporting France or Germany is preferred but not essential.
  • Sound working knowledge of European employment law and a genuine comfort operating across multiple jurisdictions.
  • The creativity, initiative and analytical thinking to independently resolve complex, varied problems — you don't wait to be told how.
  • A track record of owning HR projects end-to-end, with full accountability from kickoff to completion.
  • A collaborative, consultative style — equally comfortable advising senior stakeholders and rolling up your sleeves with local teams.
  • The critical thinking to interpret business needs, spot trends and generate original, practical solutions with impact beyond your immediate team.
  • A relevant degree or professional qualification, backed by substantial senior-level HR experience.
  • Confident English communication skills; additional European languages are an advantage

Why Ergomed

You'll join a People function that genuinely matters to the business — supporting the teams who help bring new treatments to patients who need them. You'll have real ownership of your region, a seat at the table on regional strategy, and the backing of a wider international People organisation as you build something that lasts

Additional Information

When you join Ergomed Group, you make a difference by helping to bring safe and effective pharmaceutical treatment to patients around the world. You’ll join a passionate and collaborative team of experts in clinical research, pharmacovigilance, and quality consulting.

We are diverse in many ways, yet our values unite us. Our values are how we work, not words on a wall. If they sound like you, you will feel at home here.

  • Quality: we hold ourselves to the standard patients deserve.

  • Integrity and trust: we do the right thing, especially when it is hard.

  • Drive and passion: we care about the outcome, because someone is waiting on it.

  • Agility and responsiveness: we move quickly, because patients cannot wait.

  • Belonging: everyone is welcome, and every voice counts.

  • Collaborative partnerships: we go further by going together.

We look forward to welcoming your application.
