As an Associate Business Development Manager, you will serve as a proactive growth engine for Equifax, driving revenue through high-volume outbound sales and strategic account management. This entry-level role focuses on identifying new business opportunities and maximizing the value of our existing customer portfolio through targeted phone-based outreach and expert consultation.

What you’ll do

  • Entry-level sales role selling Equifax products/services over the telephone by making outbound telephone calls to new and existing customers. Monitor loyalty and maintenance of current customer portfolio and segmented customer contact.

  • Convert sales leads to opportunities, conduct white space analysis and maintain account reviews on a quarterly basis. 

  • Consistently achieve and/or exceed monthly sales targets by upselling/cross selling to current customers and proactively prospecting new customers. 

  • Proactively manage a portfolio of customer accounts across multiple locations and industries and establish a segmented call plan to manage customer contact, based on their annual or projected annual spend. 

  • Constantly monitor customer transactions and product usage, identifying possible opportunities and threats to the Equifax customer relationship. 

  • Promote further services of Equifax that existing customers may not be aware of to continually maximize the potential of the customer’s and Equifax’s business. 

  • Maintenance of Equifax’s customer data by entering all relevant information into Salesforce on all sales activity across new and existing customers.

What experience you need 

  • Bachelor's degree and/or applicable experience, including demonstrated experience:
  • Successfully identifying potential leads through thorough prospect research.
  • Qualifying leads effectively, ensuring alignment with sales objectives.
  • Maintaining accurate customer relationship management (CRM) system data, contributing to effective tracking and management.
  • Utilizing sales scripts to guide conversations and ensure consistent messaging.
  • Building targeted contact lists by leveraging tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other databases.
  • Responding to client questions and issues in a timely manner.
  • Articulating value proposition with a high level of knowledge of customer's industry.
  • Managing the account management process efficiently.
  • Participating in Customer/Quarterly Business Review activities.
  • Executing renewals to maintain existing client relationships, if applicable.
  • Ensuring solutions meet customer needs.
  • Managing a high volume and activity of work effectively.
  • Reviewing customer satisfaction survey questions.
