Position Summary

Working as a key member of the Fund Operations team based out of London, this role will support the fund operations activities across various functions for seamless business execution and assist in the analysis of reports to ensure these are completed in accordance with the agreed timelines. This is a hands-on role and requires understanding, background and genuine desire to drive best in class performance. The individual should have a strong background of finance and accounts and should possess a relevant qualification.

Responsibilities 

  • Support the deal teams in the smooth execution of funds flow of investments and exits.
  • Work closely with deal teams and Vistra Fund Operations consultants in the smooth execution of co-investment sell down process.
  • Support the drawdowns and distributions process including equalisations on LP closings.
  • Recording complicated transactions on Allvue for accurate reporting.
  • Quarter-end and year-end reporting requirements in accordance with deadlines.
  • Support the preparation of LP quarterly reports on funds’ and portfolio companies’ performance (comprising NAV, DVPI, TVPI, IRRs, costs, and investors’ capital accounts).
  • Preparation of financial statements of funds (under UK/ US GAAP/Lux GAAP/IFRS).
  • Complete fundraising requests (DDQs, fund raising materials, review of LPAs and side letters) and facilitate onboarding of new funds.
  • Preparing AIM/SAU and LPAC materials (includes playing review role of materials).
  • Working on ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications 

  • A professional qualification in accountancy or an MBA ideally with significant post-qualification experience.
  • Understanding of UK/US GAAP & IFRS.
  • Keen learner and excited about new processes/change.
  • Can demonstrate good communication and presentation skills, but keen to develop this further.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (particularly in Excel) and ERP.
