You'll work closely with experienced Account Managers, take ownership of customer relationships, and play a key role in helping customers get the most value from their software investment.

We're looking for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, spotting commercial opportunities and is willing to pick up the phone and make things happen.
Why Forterro?

The majority of your time will be spent working with existing customers. You'll build relationships, understand their business needs and identify ways they can benefit from additional products, services and functionality.
Alongside responding to customer enquiries, you'll proactively engage with customers, uncover commercial opportunities and contribute to customer retention and account growth.

This role has been created as a stepping stone into Account Management, with a clear path towards managing your own portfolio of customers and taking on greater commercial responsibility.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence speaking with customers by phone, video and in person.
  • A proactive approach and the willingness to create opportunities through customer engagement.
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in sales and account management.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to understand customer needs and identify ways to add value.
  • Comfortable working with different teams across a business.
  • A genuine interest in developing a career in software sales.

Desirable
  • Experience in software, SaaS or technology sales.
  • Exposure to account management, customer success or pipeline management.
  • Experience running customer meetings, reviews or presentations.
  • Familiarity with consultative sales techniques.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Pipedrive.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, ERP, estimating or production software.

What Success Looks Like
You'll build trusted relationships with customers, consistently identify commercial opportunities and develop the skills required to manage your own accounts.
Over time, you'll take on greater responsibility for customer retention, revenue growth and account ownership, supported by experienced colleagues and a structured development path into a full Account Manager position.
If you're motivated by building relationships, developing commercial skills and progressing your sales career within a successful software business, we'd like to hear from you.
