Your role in the Team:
The Treasury team is responsible for looking after the Group's liquidity, funding and counterparty credit risk. Treasury ensures the Group's liquidity is placed in the optimal location to react quickly and fund necessary requirements. This is an important role to ensure the Group efficiently manages its Treasury portfolio at an appropriate level of risk. The successful candidate will be expected to have the ability to start projects from initiation and successfully deliver these to add sufficient value to the firm.
What you’ll do:

Responsible for managing the Treasury investment portfolio, enhancing return at an appropriate level of risk.

Proposing additional asset classes for inclusion within the Treasury investment portfolio, including secured funding where appropriate.

Review and negotiate collateral posting schedules and secure funding lines.

Critically analyse the Group's current approach to liquidity risk management, providing refinements to the current process.

Ownership and development of the Group's liquidity forecasting.

Involved in the continuous improvement of the Treasury function through the proposal of new initiatives.

Working cross-functionally with multiple teams, including Accounting, Legal, Risk and Operational teams.

Assisting the Treasurer in maintaining and developing financial institution relationships for the Group.

Assisting the Treasurer with the management of credit rating agencies.

Provide advice and subject matter expertise on Treasury matters as required and involvement in broader finance projects.

What you’ll need for this role

Liquidity and cash management experience essential with knowledge of financial regulation and experience in financial services desirable

Able to effectively lead and project manage, work cross-functionally and internationally, delivering to tight timelines.

Excellent communication skills - the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues and stakeholders.

Self-motivation and organization - the ability to manage your own time and task list effectively
