What you will have an opportunity to do:
The Assistant Spa Director will be responsible for but not limited to assisting the Spa Director in managing the operation of the spa and the spa staff. - Managing day-to-day activities of the spa - Promote teamwork and motivation through daily communication - Ensure prompt response and follow up to guest’s needs - Assist in hiring, planning, scheduling, and organizing staff to ensure proper coverage - Follow through with new employees to ensure proper paperwork is complete and guide the new employee through the orientation process - Responsible for managing and monitoring Spa Attendants - Manages all aspects of inventory to include purchasing, maintaining retail and back-bar products as well as monthly reporting - Assist in managing the spa budget, payroll and labor costs - Ensure that Chatham Bars Inn Standards are adhered to including Forbes,Preferred, and AAA. - Ensure that all staff are properly trained and that they have the tools and products to effectively carry out their daily tasks - Communicate and enforce policies and procedures - Oversee the development and implementation of internal training - Assist in the design and formulation of protocols (Standard Operating Procedures) - Schedule and organize staff treatment rooms to ensure proper coverage and optimal use - Point of contact for all Spa parties and groups - Additional duties requested by the Spa DirectorWhat are we looking for?
