KINTO UK are looking for an individual to join our Finance Department, joining us in the role of Assistant Management Accountant.

This position would suit an individual who is currently studying their AAT and who has already gained experience working in a finance/accounts department.

A bit about Management Accounts: The Management Accounts team plays a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of KINTO UK through diligent oversight of financial controls, cash management, and balance sheet reconciliations. Responsible for safeguarding assets and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, the team reviews and strengthens internal controls to mitigate financial risks and prevent fraud.

The Role: being instrumental in helping prepare reconciliations and management accounts accurately and on time. We're looking for someone who's not only proactive in resolving queries but also keen to provide excellent service both internally and externally. Your commitment to delivering excellent quality within agreed timelines will be key.

What you’ll be doing:

The individual must prioritise tasks effectively, resolve queries in a timely manner, and ensure that deadlines are met for reporting requirements to its parent company and owners (KEU/TMC).

Requirements

Essential:

  • Please note that all KINTO-UK Ltd employees are required to undergo and successfully obtain Enhanced Security Clearance. These checks include verification of employment history, family background, and financial records.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with experience in balance sheet reconciliations, management accounts preparation, and financial analysis.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately process financial transactions, identify discrepancies, and reconcile accounts with precision.
  • Time Management: Capacity to prioritise tasks effectively, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with departmental heads, resolve queries, and present financial information effectively.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analysing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Capacity to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes of discrepancies, and propose solutions to improve processes.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

This role that you are applying for, will be working for KINTO-UK Ltd which is a Mobility Brand owned by the Toyota Group, offices located in Portsmouth. KINTO-UK share their HR function with Toyota Financial Services (TFS) in the UK, however the job being advertised will not be working directly for Toyota Financial Services.
