About the Role
As an Assistant HR Business Partner, you will support the delivery of the people strategy across a range of corporate and operational functions. Working closely with managers and stakeholders, you'll provide professional HR guidance, support organisational change, and help create an engaging and high-performing workplace culture.
How You Will Contribute
- Partner with managers and leaders to deliver HR initiatives that support business objectives.
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance management cases.
- Support talent, succession, and workforce planning activities across the business.
- Coach and advise managers on people-related matters and employment best practice.
- Assist with organisational change projects and business transformation initiatives.
- Analyse and report on people data to support informed decision-making.
- Support employee engagement activities and help drive a positive workplace culture.
- Collaborate with the wider HR team to implement policies, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders across multiple business functions.
What You Will Bring
- CIPD qualification, or equivalent HR experience.
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Generalist, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations and UK employment legislation.
- Experience partnering with managers and providing practical people-focused solutions.
- Exposure to organisational change, talent management, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ability to interpret HR data and provide meaningful insights.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence at different levels of the business.
- Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
