THE JOB

The Artist & Promoter Relations Coordinator plays a critical role in the tactical support and execution of the suite of premium offers and custom programs for Ticketmaster Music. Once tour-based programs are approved by an artist, the Artist & Promotions Relations Coordinator works with the account lead to assess the level of complexity of the tour and assembles the appropriate teams and resources to successfully launch, run and report on the tour-based programs. 

The Artist & Promotions Relations team act as advocates of artists within Ticketmaster, representing their interests, making decisions on their behalf, and working within Ticketmaster to meet/exceed the established goals for the tour. The Artist & Promoter Relations Coordinator is relied upon as a valuable resource in providing general and administrative support for the team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Assist with administrative departmental functions such as internal record-keeping and best practices, managing onsale pipeline, monthly reporting, ad-hoc reporting, data feed management, invoicing, information gathering + distribution as needed. Ensure correct, timely and accurate delivery of such reports.
  • Assist respective account leads in coordinating and supporting hundreds of tours per year, ensuring timely, accurate, and effective communication of tour-specific requirements and configurations across internal and external teams.
  • Source and catalogue event links prior to each on-sale, inputting into content management systems for the purpose of surfacing tour landing pages, ensuring each is functional and correct.
  • Contribute to the provision of demand and sales reporting data for clients on tours managed by Ticketmaster Music, including event page views and queue stat updates as well as ensuring clients have online reporting access to events where required.
  • Alongside the respective account leads, act as first line of support for day-to-day client needs; managing and motivating various cross-functional team members toward meeting client expectations regarding established tour objectives and desired outcomes.
  • Work closely with respective account leads to educate clients on various Ticketmaster programs/tools that affect tour performance, such as, but not limited to: VIP, Platinum, Pricemaster, Artist Sign-Up, Ticketmaster Request, SafeTix and digital ticketing, SmartQueue, abuse prevention, TM+ and TM1.
  • Work alongside cross-functional groups, including, but not limited to, event and marketplace operations, event programming, marketing, finance, legal, product, abuse prevention, and others, to execute tour projects within the constraints of tight, and often fluid, time deadlines.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Proven relevant industry experience
  • Previous experience at a ticketing company, music label, management company or talent agency preferred with a proven understanding of the ticketing/entertainment industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to make the complex simple.
  • Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with a number of different ticketing systems, products, websites, and apps – including Ticketmaster.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-departmental projects for teams working towards the same goal.
  • Technical expertise in areas such as analytics/reporting (including settlements/audits) a plus.
