About the role

We are looking for an Interim AI Translation & Localisation Manager to lead the delivery and optimisation of multilingual content across our global digital channels. This role is both strategic and execution-focused, with responsibility for managing end-to-end localisation workflows, overseeing content delivery, and ensuring high-quality output across all markets. The role will drive the research, evaluation, and implementation of AI-powered translation and localisation solutions to improve operational efficiency and scalability — while maintaining brand tone, linguistic accuracy, and content quality.

The role will also oversee localisation project management, including stakeholder coordination, workflow optimisation, vendor management, and continuous improvement across tools, processes, and existing AI-assisted translation capabilities.

As a AI Translations & Localisation Manager you will

AI Research, Evaluation & Implementation

  • Research and evaluate emerging AI-powered translation and localisation technologies and assess their impact on quality, efficiency and scalability
  • Develop and refine AI-enabled localisation frameworks to improve productivity
  • Begin the implementation and integration of AI-assisted translation solutions into existing workflows and processes
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure effective adoption of tools

Localisation Delivery & Operations

  • Own end-to-end delivery of localised content across digital channels, including written, static, and video assets
  • Manage day-to-day localisation workflows across briefing, translation, review, QA, approvals, and publishing
  • Ensure timely delivery, consistency, and high-quality output across all markets and languages
  • Coordinate asset delivery and localisation priorities across multiple stakeholders and digital functions

Workflow, Process & Project Management

  • Oversee and optimise localisation workflows, processes, and operational delivery
  • Work across platforms and tools including Contentful, Figma, XTM, Monday.com
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement both quick-win and more scalable process improvements
  •

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Act as the key point of contact for localisation across internal teams
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and freelancers
  • Ensure clear communication, prioritisation, and alignment across projects, timelines, and deliverables
  • Collaborate with digital, creative, content, and occasionally regional teams to support business and market needs

Quality & Brand Consistency

  • Ensure brand tone of voice, cultural nuance, and market relevance are maintained across all localised content
  • Support language audits and QA processes

About you

    • 5+ years of experience in the translation/localisation industry
    • Experience with implementing AI within localisation workflows
    • Experience with in-house or agency translation project management
    • Experience working within a digital business environment
    • Skilled in working with CAT tools, MT engines, and translation memory systems
    • Strong project management skills
    • Thrives working in a fast-paced, continually adapting environment with multiple moving projects
    • Ability to prioritise tasks, forward-think, and manage a team effectively
    • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
