The AI Tools and Analytics Developer is responsible for leveraging existing AI and automation technologies to enhance software development processes, improve workflow efficiency, and support project delivery. This hybrid role combines hands-on software development with technical project management, ensuring the successful integration and application of AI tools and analytics across projects.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of professional experience in software development, product management and familiarity with cloud-based or enterprise software environments.  This candidate should have a strong interest in applying AI-driven solutions to real-world business challenges. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify use cases for AI tools, process improvements, build analytics dashboards, and deliver solutions that improve productivity, quality, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and customize AI-powered tools to support product management and engineering teams to streamline processes.

  • Manage small to mid-scale technical projects that integrate AI tools into existing workflows.

  • Automate repetitive or manual processes using low-code/no-code AI platforms.

  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and data teams to identify opportunities, write requirements and review plans for AI-assisted improvements.

  • Document best practices and provide technical guidance on the use of AI tools across teams.

  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and report on progress to stakeholders.

  • Stay current with emerging AI productivity tools and recommend adoption strategies.

  • Maintain process documentation and assist in rolling out new processes to the organization.

  • Assist in building dashboards to analyze key data using available tools (e.g. Tableau, JIRA, etc.)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • 2–3 years of experience in software development using Python, JavaScript, or a comparable language.

  • 2-3 years experience with data analytics using Tableau, JIRA, etc.

  • 2-3 years experience using and developing with various AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT API, Kiro, Amazon Q, Rovo, CodeWhisperer).

  • Strong understanding of agile project management principles.

  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and development environments (Git, CI/CD).

  • Proven ability to evaluate, adopt, and apply AI or automation tools in a business context.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with workflow automation or RPA platforms.

  • Understanding of API integration with AI services.

  • Exposure to project management tools like Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, Asana, or Trello.

  • Certifications in agile project management or AI fundamentals (optional).
