AI Technologist - Financial Services

Location – London

Hybrid working applies - 2/3 days in the office

Due to the nature of the work and the customers we support, the successful candidate must be eligible to meet UK Government and contractual personnel security requirements, including the applicable residency requirements for the role, and have the right to work in the United Kingdom. As an AI Technologist, you’ll help shape strategic conversations around AI and Data -ensuring that complex technology feels accessible, meaningful, and deliverable. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Account Teams, and our AI Centre of Excellence & Execution (CoEE) to craft tailored strategies that turn vision into reality. This is a pre‑sales + advisory position with strong opportunities for leadership, visibility, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage data architecture projects and guide teams to ensure milestones and outcomes are delivered successfully.
  • Provide clear updates on progress, risks, and insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Work closely with data architects and analysts to deliver high‑quality data solutions using industry best practices.
  • Participate in defining data requirements and shaping organisational data strategies.
  • Implement strong data governance, quality frameworks, and standards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and trust.
  • Contribute to data security and compliance initiatives across projects.
  • Support the creation of data roadmaps aligned to standards and organisational goals.
  • Mentor and empower junior colleagues, helping them develop confidence in data architecture principles.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Experience in AI / Data solutioning, pre‑sales, consulting, AI product roles, or AI‑focused innovation.
  • Knowledge within the Finance Services or Areospace and Defence sector.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks, Data platforms, and Cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills - especially with senior leaders.
  • Experience collaborating with both sales and delivery teams.
