As Enterprise AI Transformation Lead, you will define and drive ABB Robotics' enterprise AI strategy, focused on how AI transforms our internal business, processes, decisions and ways of working to create measurable business value and organizational transformation. Working across Business Lines and Functions, you will identify, prioritize, and scale high-impact AI opportunities that accelerate growth, increase productivity, enhance customer value, and improve organizational effectiveness.


You will establish the enterprise AI roadmap, governance framework, and investment priorities, ensuring AI initiatives move beyond experimentation and deliver sustainable business outcomes. As a key driver of business transformation, you will help shape how AI changes the way ABB Robotics works, makes decisions, and creates value across the organization.


The location of the position is within Europe.

Your responsibilities:

 

  • Define and lead ABB Robotics' AI strategy: Develop and continuously evolve the enterprise AI roadmap, aligning investments and priorities with business strategy and transformation objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize high-value AI opportunities: Translate business challenges and strategic priorities into a portfolio of scalable AI initiatives with clear business impact.
  • Drive AI adoption and value realization: Partner with Business Lines and Functions to move priority AI use cases from pilot to enterprise-wide implementation and measurable outcomes.
  • Establish AI governance and portfolio transparency: Define governance, prioritization, and decision-making frameworks while reducing fragmentation and duplication across AI initiatives.
  • Reimagine processes and ways of working: Identify opportunities to redesign business processes, operating models, and decision-making through AI rather than simply automate existing activities.
  • Connect external innovation with business needs: Monitor developments in AI and emerging technologies, translating them into practical opportunities and competitive advantages for ABB Robotics.
  • Build organizational capability for the AI era: Support the development of skills, mindsets, and adoption frameworks required to embed AI-enabled ways of working across the enterprise.

Your background:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Data Science, or a related discipline; an advanced technical or business qualification is an advantage.
  • Significant experience in AI strategy, digital transformation, technology strategy, or enterprise transformation within complex organizations.
  • Proven track record of translating emerging technologies into business strategy, scalable initiatives, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise AI applications, value creation, and the opportunities and challenges associated with scaling AI across an organization.
  • Experience establishing governance frameworks and driving adoption of digital, data, or AI-enabled initiatives across multiple functions and geographies.
  • Excellent strategic, analytical, and commercial acumen, with the ability to prioritize investments and balance value, risk, and organizational readiness.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience working with senior business and technology leaders to drive enterprise-wide change.
