At Moss, we give finance professionals the power to automate their day-to-day and make forward-thinking decisions.

Our team and culture make us unique — we’re driven by impact and growth, where every one of us strives to learn and excel. Recognised by Sifted’s Rising 100 and LinkedIn's Top Startups, we’re here to help propel your career and together, make Moss a lasting success.

We’re looking for an AI Operations Associate to help drive AI adoption across our teams through hands-on execution. This is an executionary role focused on applying AI in day-to-day operations.

You’ll work directly with different functions across the business to increase AI usage and to identify opportunities, prototype solutions, and help teams integrate AI into how they operate day-to-day.

Your responsibilities
  • Partner with teams across the business to identify and implement AI-driven improvements to workflows

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand current processes and define what an AI-enabled version could look like

  • Build and deploy solutions (e.g. automations, AI agents, prompt workflows) using tools like Claude, n8n and other AI platforms

  • Support teams in adopting AI tools effectively, including hands-on guidance and enablement

  • Act as a builder within teams, helping redesign how work gets done with AI embedded from the start

  • Ship fast, high-impact AI projects where results are visible immediately, not months from now.

Example project
  • Partnering with the Finance team to define and implement what an AI-enabled month end close period looks like

About you
  • Background in AI-focused education (e.g. courses, certifications, or hands-on training), with a strong understanding of how to apply AI tools in practical, real-world contexts.

  • Demonstrated experience using AI to build, ship, and transform work in prior teams or projects.

  • No requirement to be a strong coder, but need experience with technical curiosity and fluency using AI tools natively in your day-to-day work (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, automation tools, etc.)

In addition, here are the skills and attributes we are looking for:

  • Pragmatic Builder: You turn ideas into practical, effective AI solutions fast—prioritising impact over perfection through lightweight automations, agents, and workflows.

  • Curious Problem-Solver: You push the boundaries of how work gets done by deeply exploring new technologies, identifying inefficiencies, and translating them into practical, high-impact AI solutions

  • Embedded Collaborator: You work side-by-side with teams, co-creating solutions that fit seamlessly into real workflows and team contexts.

  • AI Enablement Partner: You make AI adoption easy—guiding teams hands-on and equipping them to use AI confidently in their daily work.

  • Outcome-Oriented Operator: You focus on quick, high-impact wins, delivering measurable improvements and iterating based on results.
