The Role

Working Closely with the Global Head of AI
You will collaborate daily with Dr Shaun Barney to co design how we manage delivery, collaboration, and team cohesion across a high impact technical environment.

Clarifying Goals and Tracking Progress
You will help team members stay aligned with their objectives and the broader mission. This involves simplifying complexity, tracking timelines, and creating momentum without micromanagement.

Enabling a High Trust Team Culture
You will build strong, personal connections across a deeply specialised team spanning disciplines such as physics, graph theory, neuroscience, AI, and human behaviour. Your role is to help them stay focused, supported, and connected.

Oversight of External Collaboration
As the project engages with clients and external stakeholders, you will keep a strategic eye on how our work is being coordinated outside the core team. This includes light touch oversight of any delivery activities and ensuring nothing compromises our standard of excellence.

Co creating the Role and Operating Model
This is not a predefined role. You will help shape how this function evolves, drawing from observation, experimentation, and close collaboration with technical and strategic leaders.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone early in their career, but with the mindset, potential, and presence of a future leader.

An ideal candidate will have:

A strong academic foundation – preferably a Master’s degree in business, project management, or a related field
Emotional intelligence and integrity – able to build trust and navigate complexity with empathy
A structured mindset – able to bring calm, clarity, and coordination to dynamic, fast moving teams
Excellent communication skills – able to ask the right questions, synthesise input, and clearly share information
A growth mindset – unafraid to learn by doing, challenge assumptions, and improve continuously
