This Agency Sales Director will be required to lead a group of agencies. They will be required to lead and deliver the strategy for their patch in a timely and efficient manner. They will be required to deliver a strategy which centres around MiQ’s advanced media solutions for our clients and enhancing these through our solutions offering. With a problem-solving mindset and hunger to solve challenges, they will be tasked with the end-to-end commercial delivery of these solutions to their book of business. Success will require proactive, strategic approaches to new and existing clients offering seamlessly connected thinking and proposals, which cover media and drive an analytics agenda. They will be equally comfortable presenting a complex solution to all seniority levels.

They will be required to work closely with the Group Agency Director in forecasting and delivering numbers and leading strategic accounts across their patch. They will be leading an initiative to drive sustainable growth, via sophisticated media and analytics solutions, impacting the future growth of the MiQ business in the UK and worldwide.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver a strategy across their dedicated patch at agency and client level in collaboration with the GAD.
  • Establish clear project scope, understand the brief/solution requirements and manage key milestones to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Ensure that the pipeline is up to date through Salesforce to provide relevant statistical data to the business.
  • Management and ownership of the monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts for their book of business, reporting up to the GAD and Commercial Director.
  • Have a new business focus as well as growing our existing business into sustainable revenue/GP.
  • Identify and build a strategy around Key accounts across their patch with a focus on retaining and delivering incremental revenue to the business.
  • Building new and developing existing relationships within their advertising agency and with clients through a strong and constructive relationship built on trust.
  • Consistently achieving group/personal sales targets and delivering revenue/profit numbers for their group to the UK Commercial Director
  • Support and execute the strategy across our most important clients through client engagement, building out a roadmap, documentation and quarterly business reviews.
  • Own the relationships with agency Digital Directors, Planning Directors, Account managers, and Business
  • Feed into content for trading reviews and other initiatives with heads of departments within their patch.
  • Proactively uncover and identify business-wide or media challenges, which can be addressed or solved via the MiQ Media and Analytics suite of solutions.
  • Through proactive planning and collaboration, construct a simplified but engaging narrative via great storytelling, technical explanation and proposal articulation.
  • Work closely with the Solutions, Trading and Global Sales teams, to assist and support agency & client opportunities through client identification.
  • Collaborate and communicate with other departments within the business, including but not limited to;– Account Management, TradingProduct, Solutions and Marketing. Ensure processes are followed for operational excellence.
  • Coach and help develop an Agency Partner to have a winning mentality & ensure they are living and breathing the MIQ values.
  • Excellent written communication to build award-winning solutions and presentations, which impact business decisions and answer business challenges.
  • Excel at the ability to curate, innovate and articulate an end-to-end media and analytics solution from briefing stage to delivery effectively.
  • Consistently achieve group and personal sales targets set out by the business.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years’ experience working within an agency or media owner at a senior level with 2 years of management experience
  • Extremely strong relationships across your agency holdco.
  • 5+ years’ experience working within digital, data, analytics or programmatic industry.
  • Programmatic/analytics-led solution experience would be preferable, but not essential.
  • Proven experience of consistently delivering revenue targets
  • Proven experience in building & developing a team
  • Track record in delivering new business-winning proposals through agency engagement.
  • Experience in presenting programmatic/analytics to middle and senior agency personnel.


REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • The ability to Interpret and analyse statistical data to maximise selling opportunities, monitor competitive activity and provide regular progress reports
  • Enviable, precise and market-leading presentation skills are paramount to this role.
  • Experience in building narratives, and developing into exciting story-telling and clear proposals.
  • Natural flair and desire to build relationships at all levels externally, primarily with client partners and Group Account directors within agencies.
  • Strategic thinking around media/analytics diversification across new target accounts.
  • Professional, focused and inquisitive attitude, able to challenge internally and externally.
  • Ambition to scale and grow, both individually and as a team our SOV across your agency group.
