Hearst UK operates an in office policy with flexible Friday's. Our office is based at House of Hearst, 30 Panton Street, St James's, London, SW1Y 4AJ, where teams collaborate in person and connect across brands and functions.

Salary - Circa £27,500 - Salary is dependent on experience and will be assessed in line with the candidate’s skills, knowledge, and relevant expertise

The Role…

As Agency Development Executive, you will support the delivery of commercial campaigns from brief response through to completion, working across agency accounts while helping to build strong relationships with agency teams.

You will work closely with the Agency Development Manager, Account Management, Creative Strategy and wider internal teams to support campaign responses, agency servicing and day-to-day commercial activity. This is a varied role that will provide exposure across digital, print, partnerships and events, while helping you develop a strong understanding of Hearst’s brands, products and commercial opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone starting their career, or looking to move into an established publisher environment. We are looking for someone proactive, organised, curious and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in media, advertising and relationship building.

Main Duties…

  • Support the Agency Development Manager and wider team in building and maintaining strong relationships with agency partners across a range of accounts.
  • Assist with campaign responses and execution across agency briefs, ensuring activity is delivered accurately, professionally and on time.
  • Support the preparation of agency meetings, presentations, immersion sessions, business reviews, sales materials, case studies and campaign updates.
  • Attend agency meetings where relevant, taking notes, capturing actions and supporting effective follow-up with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Help identify proactive opportunities and new briefs across both existing and prospective agency accounts, while ensuring agency contacts are kept informed of Hearst developments and opportunities.
  • Accurately support the tracking of pipeline activity, booked revenue and commercial opportunities through Salesforce and other internal systems.
  • Build a strong working knowledge of Hearst brands, products, commercial formats and services, while learning how to confidently communicate Hearst’s proposition to agency partners.
  • Provide excellent day-to-day support to the wider team and agency contacts, acting as an ambassador for Hearst UK and undertaking any additional duties appropriate to your skills, qualifications and experience.

  • Commercial curiosity and an interest in understanding how campaigns, partnerships and revenue opportunities are developed.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office programmes, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, or a willingness to learn quickly.
  • A collaborative and supportive approach, with the confidence to ask questions, take feedback and contribute positively as part of a team.
  • A reliable, adaptable and personable attitude, with pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work and excellent service.
