In this role, you’ll provide essential administrative and transactional support, helping to maintain accurate financial records and ensure key banking, reconciliation, invoice and credit control processes are completed correctly and on time.

Working closely with colleagues across Finance, Retail Operations, FP&A and external partners, you’ll help support the accuracy, compliance and smooth running of company accounts in line with internal policies and regulations.

Who you are

  • A highly organised and detail-oriented individual with an interest in finance, accounting and transactional processes.
  • Confident working with numbers, financial records and accounting systems, with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to investigate discrepancies, resolve issues and follow through on actions in a timely manner.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across reconciliations, invoice processing, reporting and month-end activity.
  • A clear communicator who can build effective working relationships with internal teams and external providers.
  • Reliable and accountable, with a methodical approach to administration and the confidence to take ownership of recurring tasks.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a busy Finance team, while using your own initiative to support day-to-day operations.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing end-to-end bank reconciliations across multiple accounts, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded, reconciled and posted to the ledgers.
  • Completing bank reconciliations in a timely manner and providing clear commentary on cash discrepancies each week.
  • Supporting Retail Operations with cash and banking activity, discrepancy reporting and efficient cash collection processes.
  • Providing daily cash balance reporting to support FP&A with cashflow reporting requirements.
  • Posting concession partner invoices, supporting invoice automation through Continia and reviewing concession control accounts each week.
  • Setting up corporate customers, raising and distributing invoices, reviewing aged debtors and proactively chasing outstanding debt.
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations for month-end and year-end close, including branch sales, concession control accounts and bank accounts.
  • Investigating balance discrepancies, resolving issues in line with deadlines and ensuring write-offs are actioned with appropriate commentary.

What we’ll do for you

  • Competitive salary and company bonus.
  • Up to 65% employee discount.
  • Access to exclusive sample sales.
  • Health and wellbeing services.
  • Medicash health support plan.
  • Workplace pension contributions.
  • Enhanced parental leave policies.
  • Electric Vehicle scheme via Octopus Energy.
  • Cycle to Work programme.
  • Season ticket travel loan.
  • Plus further workplace benefits.
