The role

As an Account Manager, you build your own portfolio of business owners and help them navigate their financial journey with iwoca. Your work directly contributes to the financial success of iwoca and the customer experience. From independent hair salons to established dental practices, you will ensure our customers feel supported, heard, and empowered to grow.

The requirements

Essential:

  • Demonstrates curiosity to use and learn more about AI tools. You’ll already be comfortable using AI tools in practical ways to help solve problems, increase productivity and improve quality of work, showing good judgement about when to use them and the ability to explain the reasoning behind that use.

  • Guide & Assist: Support new customers through their application journey, simplifying complex steps and finding the right financial solutions for their business goals.

  • Build Partnerships: Foster long-lasting, trust-based relationships with a portfolio of existing and new clients.

  • Champion the Customer: Our systems are always developing. Act as the internal "Voice of the Customer," sharing insights with our product and tech teams to help us innovate and stay ahead of the competition.

  • Strategic Growth: Use your understanding of business drivers to help clients maximise their potential while keeping them informed about new opportunities and product developments.

  • Collaborate: Work within an international, cross-functional team to improve our processes and help us scale our mission.

  • You are Multilingual: You possess excellent German communication skills (both written and spoken) and are comfortable collaborating in English within our diverse international office.

The salary

We expect to pay from £34,000 - £42,000 for this role. But, we’re open-minded, so definitely include your salary goals with your application. We routinely benchmark salaries against market rates, and run quarterly performance and salary reviews.
