About you:
You enjoy winning new business and building relationships that last. You like understanding how organisations work and helping people solve real problems, especially in local government. You’re motivated by results, but you keep customers at the centre of everything you do. You’ll play an important part in supporting the continued growth and strategic focus of our Local Government new business team, with the freedom to shape your approach and the backing of a supportive, experienced Access team.
Day to day, you will:
• Find and develop new sales opportunities within local government, helping to grow our new business pipeline and long‑term customer base.
• Build strong relationships with prospects and customers, running discovery conversations, demos and proposals that clearly show value.
• Work closely with marketing, pre‑sales and customer success teams to support joined‑up campaigns and smooth handovers.
• Manage your pipeline in Salesforce, keeping forecasts accurate and activity focused on the right priorities.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
• Experience in business‑to‑business sales, new business development or account management.
• Confidence presenting and building relationships with a range of stakeholders.
• An understanding of local government or public sector buying, including frameworks and procurement processes.
• A positive, organised approach that helps you manage your time and workload well.
