Job Description:

Darktrace offers outstanding career growth alongside uncapped commission in the fast-evolving cyber security space, powered by artificial intelligence and machine learning. This role is focused on account expansion and revenue growth within an existing customer base, driving long-term value and strategic partnerships.

 

This is a hybrid position, with a minimum of 3 days per week in our Munich office.

 

What will I be doing:

Due to continued growth and increased demand, we are expanding our Account Executive team with specialists focused on enterprise and mid-market account development.

In this role, you will take ownership of a portfolio of existing customers, with a clear mandate to grow, retain, and expand revenue across your accounts. You will build deep, trusted relationships with key stakeholders, identify new opportunities within your accounts, and position Darktrace as a strategic cyber security partner.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving account expansion, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities across enterprise and mid-market customers
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with CISOs, security leaders, and key decision-makers
  • Developing and executing account plans to maximise long-term customer value
  • Collaborating with channel partners within your territory to unlock additional growth
  • Presenting and demonstrating Darktrace’s AI-driven cyber threat defence solutions, supported by in-house technical experts
  • Representing Darktrace at industry events, customer meetings, and security conferences

What experience do I need:

We are looking for ambitious, commercially driven individuals with a strong track record in account management, account growth, or expansion-focused sales within a B2B environment.

As a German-Speaking Account Executive focused on expansion, you will play a critical role in scaling our existing customer revenue across the DACH market.

You will be:

  • Fluent in German and English
  • A confident and credible communicator, skilled at building long-term, strategic relationships
  • Experienced in growing and expanding existing accounts through upsell and cross-sell
  • Highly motivated by uncapped commission and success in a target-driven environment
  • Comfortable operating within a high-growth or start-up environment
  • Interested in cyber security and confident working with technical solutions
