Exa is building a search engine for the AI era. Our Search API currently powers Agents, Fortune 500s and AI labs as we transform an industry that hasn’t been disrupted since the 90s. We're a largely SF-based team of ~100 from Harvard, MIT, Meta, Google Research, ex-founders & dropouts alike.

We are rapidly building the most intelligent search engine in history. We’re high agency, low-ego, and united by the feeling that this is one of the last problems worth getting right.

Now, we’re looking for an Account Executive to help us bring Exa to new verticals & to the world (aka Europe)!

About the Role

As an Account Executive at Exa, you will work with customers who need speed, intelligence, and accuracy in their workflows. You’ll take full ownership of deals—prospecting, running demos, negotiating, and closing.

What You’ll Do

  • Help build our London GTM office from 0->1 (culture cultivation, in-person events, in-person sales)

  • Own the entire sales cycle—from first touch to close

  • Run product demos that make customers say “wow”

  • Develop and execute strategies to land high-value customers

  • Work closely with SDRs to keep the pipeline strong and moving

  • Negotiate contracts, hit targets, and drive revenue growth

What You’ll Need

  • 2+ years in a sales role, ideally in SaaS or AI/tech products

  • Experience managing a full sales cycle, from lead generation to close

  • Strong communication skills—you can tell a great story and sell a vision

  • A consultative approach—help customers see the business value, not just the features

  • A competitive edge—you’re driven, persistent, and love closing deals

  • Comfort in a fast-moving, high-growth startup environment

This is an in-person opportunity in London, with several sponsored trips to SF headquarters to onboard. We are open to sponsoring International candidates (e.g STEM OPT, OPT, H1B, O1, E3). In addition to premium healthcare benefits (medical, dental, vision), we also offer fertility benefits and a monthly wellness stipend to all of our employees.

Exa is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, creed, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, disability, age, veteran status, marital status, pregnancy or related conditions, criminal histories consistent with applicable law, or any other basis protected by applicable law.
