Working at Atlassian
Atlassians can choose where they work - whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. This non-traditional Sales role is fully remote and we're able to hire eligible candidates for this role in the UK, Poland or Netherlands only.
Pay Transparency
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn, we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience.
Poland: 195,248 PLN and 229,416 PLN
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
Your future team
Atlassian is changing the software development industry and helping teams all around the world like Vodafone, Daimler, and Klarna to advance humanity through the power of software and collaboration. The Mid Market Sales team helps our largest customers scale their investments in Atlassian.
The Mid Market Sales team was established in the summer of 2019. We have worked in sales and management roles in well-established Fortune 500 companies as well as exciting startups. We share a commitment to reach our numbers and ambition to make our team successful. However, above all we believe in the Atlassian values and want to use them as our compass in building a revolutionary sales model.
We are looking for a proactive Account Executive who thrives on unlocking untapped potential within existing customer relationships. You will be responsible for driving growth by deepening Atlassian's footprint across accounts that already know us - but haven't yet realised the full value of our platform.
In this role, you will:
  • Identify and develop growth opportunities within an assigned portfolio of existing Atlassian customers across the UKI region.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand adoption and uncover new use cases within accounts that have existing but limited Atlassian usage.
  • Develop and implement named account or territory plans geared at both maximising expansion opportunities across a wide portfolio of products and ensuring a high bar of customer success.
  • Work with team members in the channel sales organisation to build sales strategies for designated territory or named accounts.
  • Be Atlassian's main point of contact for designated Mid-Market accounts.

Your background:
  • 4+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in a closing role.
  • Experience in Enterprise software sales, driving transformational deals.
  • Proven track record of exceeding targets by finding and closing growth opportunities within an existing customer base - identifying whitespace, building champions, and expanding platform adoption.
  • Experience navigating complex organisations to land new buying centres, teams, or use cases within accounts where you are not starting from zero.
  • Experience growing Enterprise accounts through cross-sell and upsell.
  • Customer-centric mindset.
  • Experience creating alignment and orchestrating internal account teams.
  • Preference for experience in the UKI region.
  • Fluent language skills in English required.
