Job Description:

Dentsu Creative operates in over 21 markets worldwide with more than 2,200 dedicated specialists. Bringing together our Japanese heritage in craft, data and technology, and our deep understanding of media and contemporary culture, Dentsu Creative is a new global creative agency. Born in Japan, raised in a digital world. We help transform brands and business through the power of Modern Creativity: which creates culture, changes society and invents the future and is accelerated by our deep specialist expertise in digital experience, earned attention and entertainment.

What if your PR career focused on creating real change? Join us as Account Executive in our Government PR team and create campaigns that influence behaviour, shape communities and improve lives. You will already have some agency or government communications experience - what matters most is your passion for social issues, your ability to communicate clearly, and a desire to learn.

If you’re someone who cares about the world around you and wants your communications career to reflect that, this could be the perfect role for you. This is permanent role, working on a hybrid model in our Melbourne office.

Core responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of integrated communication and PR campaigns across Federal and State Government and social impact clients

  • Produce a range of content including media materials, reports, articles and campaign communications that inform and engage

  • Coordinate day to day account activity: scheduling meetings, tracking actions, monitoring media and supporting campaign execution

  • Build relationships with internal teams, stakeholders and media, while contributing to ideas and campaign development

A bit about you:

  • You’re curious about the world, with a genuine interest in social issues, public policy, or making a positive impact

  • Six to 12 months agency or communication experience

  • A strong communicator and writer; you can express ideas clearly and confidently (whether through study, work, or personal projects like blogs or content creation)

  • Proactive and eager to learn. You’re someone who puts your hand up, asks questions, and gets involved

  • Open minded about your career path; you may have experience in PR, communications, government, media, or community/volunteer work

What’sin it for you:

  • Real flexibility to work when and where you feel most productive with our ‘Be the Best You’ policy which includes a $250 contribution to your home office set up.
  • The opportunity to give back with dedicated volunteer leave and our whole-company event, One Day for Change.
  • 5 weeks annual leave after 2 years of service and 3 whole company Wellness days off per year for you to switch off and take your day, your way.
  • Career Development and Learning & Development opportunities, including access to our global online dentsu University.

Become a champion for meaningful progress:

Our diverse and inclusive culture enables our employees to bring their whole selves to work and be proud of doing so. For us, this is the foundation for great innovation which, in turn, generates better outcomes for our people, partners and communities. This is why we encourage applications from people with disabilities, and of all ages, nationalities, backgrounds and cultures.

If you want to belong to a one global network where opportunities are limitless – we look forward to welcoming you.
