Join Choco, where we build and own solutions that reshape a broken food system.

The global food supply chain is inefficient by design. Waste is high, margins are thin, and most distributor order processes are done over the phone, tracked across broad spreadsheets, and based on intuition rather than strong data.

At Choco, we’re changing that. We build software used daily by food distributors and their customers to run their business. It automates orders, reduces errors, and helps operations run faster and more reliably. Because it’s embedded in daily operations, our SaaS platform has immediate, real-world impact, on efficiency, margins, and how businesses run day to day.

Mission

As an Account Executive, you will win new food distributor customers across the French market, owning the full sales cycle from first conversation to signed agreement and helping them modernize their operations with Choco’s technology.

What you'll do
  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through product demos, negotiation, and close.

  • Build your own pipeline through cold outreach, referrals, industry events, field visits, and existing networks.

  • Run compelling demos of Choco’s products, including our AI-powered solutions, connecting what we build directly to the problems our customers need to solve.

  • Lead effective commercial conversations, understand how a distributor operates, identify their biggest challenges, and build a clear case for change.

  • Manage diverse sales cycles, from agile, family-run food suppliers to complex, multi-stakeholder organizations. You must adeptly pivot your strategy, balancing relationship-building with high-touch, consultative selling to drive consensus and close deals across varying business structures.

  • Help improve how we sell by sharing what you learn from customers, testing new approaches, and contributing to the team’s playbook.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless transition for new clients and to provide feedback on market needs for scaling SMB and Mid Market relationships.

What you bring
  • 3+ years of experience in software sales, ideally progressing from SDR/BDR into an Account Executive role, with hands-on experience owning and closing deals.

  • A track record of consistently overachieving against sales quotas and targets.

  • Consistent achievement of self-sourced pipeline generation and outbound activity targets.

  • Experience managing a full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close.

  • A strong track record of outbound prospecting and creating your own pipeline.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment, managing multiple opportunities and maintaining momentum across your pipeline.

  • Fluency in French and English (C1+)

  • Proven ability to manage mid-market sales cycles with a focus on value-based selling and long-term partnership growth.

  • Demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration, working with internal teams to deliver complex solutions to sophisticated business customers.

What you get
  • Work on digitalizing core operating systems for food distributors, automating orders, sales and payments in a system that still largely runs on calls and spreadsheets.

  • Work with an AI product with proven product–market fit, already embedded in distributor workflows and directly affecting order accuracy, speed, and margins.

  • Join a global team across 6 countries and 40+ nationalities, building a company that has raised $300M+ and reached unicorn status (~$1.2B valuation) with the ambition to define this category end-to-end.

  • In return, you get real ownership, equity, and the support to do your best work, including competitive compensation, health and wellbeing support, and long-term benefits like a sabbatical (all localized by office).

  • Collaborate with people who want to own outcomes in a messy, real-world system and make it work at scale.

If you want to work on real problems, take ownership, and raise the bar, we should talk.
