We’re now looking for an Account Executive for our B2B team. This is a combined Business Development / Account Managements role. In this role you will collaborate with Head of Sales to craft solutions and go-to-market strategies that will propel our business to new heights. We’re on a mission to simplify life’s most important payments by becoming the embedded finance solution for businesses needing to make large international transfers.  or mass payments (think payroll providers, accountancy firms etc.) Our solution can be fully embedded into an existing payment process OR we can also offer a full technical implementation which is API led. 

This role will focus on developing partnerships with professional services companies and accountancy solutions providers to ensure that Redpin and Currencies Direct are their preferred method of international payments and by supporting their customers on regular multi-currencies payments or large one-off payments. With a strong value proposition established, we’re looking for candidates who are comfortable taking an early-stage product to market successfully.   

What you’ll do  

  • You will have end-to-end responsibility across the 6 to 10 week sales cycle, including origination and initial relationship management.
  • You will self-source your partnership pipeline; with Marketing support you will be able to nurture your prospects and early-stage customers. 
  • Since our solution is easy to use, you will oversee running solution demonstration by yourself, supported by Product engineers for complex product requests.
  • Developing a deep understanding of partner process gaps, translating them into optimal solutions that meet their customer needs 
  • Working closely with stakeholders across finance, product, IT, compliance, and marketing teams to effectively communicate partner needs and maximize new business conversion.
  • Supporting an organization-wide engagement for our partner first sales motion 

What you’ll need  

  • Proven success in developing propositions and commercializing new SaaS products and services.
  • Previous experience of selling full technical API led Implementations
  • Previous experience of managing complex financial orientated partnerships with a wide range of business types (accountancies, consultancies, other professional services) 
  • Experience of end to end pipeline management and closing
  • Demonstrable experience in managing long and complex sales cycles and influencing the speed of closing opportunities.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships at senior levels.
  • Comfort with both face-to-face client meetings and remote methods.
  • A strong track record of collaborative work across multiple functions.
  • Consistent ability to close high-value opportunities and exceed financial targets.
  • Outstanding communication skills. 

Bonus Points  

  • Previous experience in the fintech or proptech sectors
  • Previous experience within the international payments ecosystem
  • Background knowledge and understanding of International Real Estate
  • Background knowledge and experience in dealing with Partnership and direct sales
