The Account Director will lead high-profile travel PR campaigns, manage teams, develop strategies, and host media trips. Requires strong writing and media contacts.
Step into a role where creativity meets wanderlust. FINN Partners is seeking an accomplished Account Director to join our award‑winning UK Travel PR team for a one‑year maternity cover. If you have a deep love of travel, a sharp understanding of the media landscape, and five+ years of PR experience, this is your chance to shape standout campaigns for some of the world’s most exciting destinations and brands.
What you’ll do
You’ll lead the day‑to‑day running of high‑profile travel accounts, guiding talented teams and partnering closely with senior leadership. From strategic planning to hands‑on execution, you’ll deliver integrated campaigns across print, digital, influencer and broadcast channels. You’ll spot stories others miss, drive KPIs with confidence, and play a key role in new business — from brainstorms to pitch development. Hosting media and influencer trips will also be part of the adventure.
What your days look like
No two days are the same. While core hours are 9 - 5, the nature of PR means you might be organising a sunrise shoot one day and attending an evening event the next. Our hybrid model gives you flexibility, with time split between home and our Old Street office.
What you bring to the role
a passion for travel and media, strong writing skills, excellent organisation, and a knack for uncovering great stories. You’ll have existing media contacts, commercial awareness, and the ability to coach junior team members while thriving in a fast‑paced environment.
What’s in it for you
You’ll join a global agency recognised as a PR Week Best Place to Work, with generous annual leave, private medical and dental cover, wellness benefits, enhanced maternity leave and more. You’ll be part of a collaborative, creative culture that values innovation, partnership and people. The salary for this role starts from £44,000 annual, based on skills and experience.
