Who are we?

EF Corporate Learning is the world’s first and largest corporate language training provider. Delivering language training for organizations since 1965 and with 20+ million learners trained online since 1996, our legacy and global scale are unmatched. Many of the 3,000+ multinational organizations we serve have partnered with us for over 15 years.

Our award-winning method is designed using the largest dataset of language learners in the world, drawing from 2.2+ million English assessments, 5+ million live private classes yearly, and countless more learners enjoying structured self-study every day. The result is a learning experience with 3x better engagement and learning progress, helping your teams find their voice, faster.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a strategic and consultative Global Account Director to join our Global Sales team. In this role you will be responsible for generating new business within large national and international organizations. You will develop and manage target accounts, build relationships with key stakeholders in HR and Learning & Development, and drive growth across your portfolio.

You will lead complex, end-to-end B2B sales processes—from identifying opportunities and analyzing customer needs to developing compelling value propositions and negotiating with C-level decision-makers. You have the ability to translate underlying business challenges into concrete, strategic solutions that deliver measurable value.

The sales cycles are typically longer and require a consultative approach. Leveraging your understanding of the HR and L&D market, you will act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to both local and global clients.

In addition, you will be responsible for developing and delivering persuasive pitch presentations. You understand the competitive landscape and can clearly articulate why EF’s solutions stand out, positioning them effectively against alternative providers.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities in target accounts
  • Manage complex end-to-end B2B sales processes, executing needs analyses, value proposition definitions and negotiations with C-level stakeholders
  • Insight into the HR/L&D customer market and bring to bear that knowledge in conversations with large local and international companies
  • Write and deliver compelling pitch presentations, requiring a thorough knowledge of the market and how our services stand out from competitors
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support clients

The skills & experience we look for

  • At least 5 years’ experience managing complex consultative end-to-end B2B sales processes
  • Strong relational skills, influencing skills and presence
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Passion for selling high quality solutions that deliver real business impact for clients
  • Fluency in English, working knowledge of any other language (especially German) preferred
  • Experience working in education and/or with HR stakeholders is a plus
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus

To thrive at EF Corporate Learning, you will:

  • Have strong personal drive and energy
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit with a nothing is impossible mindset
  • Excited by having ownership and autonomy
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced results-driven environment
  • Be passionate about learning and language.

Why work for us?

  • Opportunities to design projects and develop products for our clients, producing meaningful work that makes a difference to people’s lives.
  • Developing our talent is core to our values. We provide regular training, access to self-development platforms, real ownership, and career progression opportunities
  • Opportunity to participate in our Global Experience Program, spending time in other offices and teams around the world
  • A competitive salary (based on track record) and benefits packages
  • Comprehensive Onboarding and development programs
  • The opportunity to join our global sales conferences
  • Length of Service Recognition including paid sabbatical
  • A strong network of international peers and collaborators.
