Accounts Assistant Apprentice

The apprenticeship:

Qualification: Accounts Assistant Level 2

Duration: 15 months

Our client is an esteemed accountancy firm based in London. They have been assisting businesses in succeeding for over 40 years. An opportunity has presented for an Accounts Apprentice to join their team. If you're passionate about getting your accountancy career off the ground, this opportunity is not to be missed!


The Role:

Possible start date: ASAP

Monday to Friday - 0900 – 1730

Total working hours: 37.5

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer transactions
  • Process supplier transactions
  • Process receipts and payments
  • Process transactions into ledgers
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Use accounting software
  • Use double-entry
  • Prepare CIS returns
  • File CIS returns
  • Organise and send post to clients
  • Allocate post into client system
  • Scanning
  • Answer phones
  • Use spreadsheets
  • Organise and allocate client records
  • Respond to client queries on emails
  • Send customer ledgers to colleagues
