2027 BNY Analyst Program – Office of the CFO - Finance

As an Office of the CFO - Finance Analyst, you will gain firsthand experience in the strategic financial operations that underpin BNY, a global financial institution. This rotational program offers a unique opportunity to work within high-performing finance teams responsible for ensuring the firm’s financial integrity, supporting sustainable growth, and driving operational excellence across the enterprise. You will be embedded within teams that support specific lines of business or corporate functions, contributing to initiatives that impact revenue generation, cost management, and financial planning. Analysts will assist with financial and regulatory reporting, balance sheet analysis, capital management, and strategic planning, developing a comprehensive understanding of how a large financial institution operates at scale.

 

What you will do 

  • Support finance teams that help maintain BNY’s financial integrity, support sustainable growth, and drive operational excellence across the firm.

  • Assist with work related to financial planning and analysis, reporting, balance sheet analysis, capital management, and strategic planning.

  • Conduct data analysis and help interpret financial information to provide insights into business performance, risks, and opportunities for efficiency.

  • Collaborate across lines of business and corporate functions on projects that support decision-making, process improvement, and the use of emerging financial technologies.

Analyst Program 
Our 24-month rotational Analyst Program is designed to set you up for success from day one. New joiners take part in a structured induction experience to help them assimilate into BNY, learn about the organization, connect with peers and leaders, and build the core skills needed to navigate their early career with confidence.

 

From day one, analysts are immersed in BNY's collaborative and innovative culture through:

Program eligibility:

  • Enrollment in a 3 or 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred 
  • Graduating in Dec 2026 or Summer 2027   
  • On track to achieve a 2.1 or higher 
  • Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying.
