Lead hands-on delivery of data engineering engagements, build and mentor teams, set technical standards (testing, CI/CD, observability, governance), shape client proposals, represent YLD externally, and grow the data practice while stepping in on complex client work.

Own cloud access, identity management, and infrastructure-as-code for shared client infrastructure. Manage AWS IAM, Identity Center, Organizations, Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, governance, and careful change management. Support dependent engineering teams, maintain reliability and testing standards, and use scripting and emerging AI tools where valuable. This is a three-month remote EU-based B2B contract with potential extension.

Contract software engineering role for a remote Europe-based engineer building scalable, resilient backend products with client teams. Responsibilities include backend development in Go, API and SaaS platform development, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, containerized deployment with Docker and Kubernetes, testing with TDD, and performance optimization.
