Leads tax data engineering by gathering requirements, designing and operating scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, developing data models and warehouse structures, and ensuring data quality and observability. Partners with Tax, Analytics, Data Science, and business teams to validate data sources, support new initiatives, document systems, and automate recurring tasks using AI-assisted tools. The role also contributes to project planning, data tooling decisions, issue resolution, and engineering best-practice sharing.

Leads VAT tax technology projects across Wolt and Deliveroo, translating business and VAT requirements into Vertex configurations, integrations, testing, and production capabilities. Manages an implementation team, oversees end-to-end validation, reviews technical and product documentation, aligns tax-engine roadmaps with international launches, traces tax data flows, and provides functional expertise across Tax, Engineering, Product, and Data. The role also supports legislative changes, compliance reporting, team development, and cross-functional delivery.

Lead cross‑market initiatives to reduce contact rates and refunds, define KPIs, run deep-dive analyses, drive automation and self-service, coordinate with regional and product teams, and scale outsourcing and operational workflows to improve customer experience and efficiency.
