Provide first-line pensions expertise to HR teams, resolve and escalate pension queries, manage 5–10 concurrent cases, support governance and strategic HR projects, improve pension communications, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Manage all transfer station operations, logistics, staffing (approx. 40 people), budgets and QHSE. Drive operational plans, KPIs, compliance with waste regulations and Veolia management requirements, lead safety investigations, coach and develop teams, and identify cost-saving and efficiency improvements.

Conduct regular site visits and audits to assure safety standards across municipal collections, street cleaning, waste transfer stations and fleet workshops. Support operations, engage stakeholders, identify improvements, monitor site improvement plans, liaise with clients, regulators and the Municipal Risk & Assurance Manager, and provide industry best-practice advice.
