Develop and maintain React web applications for trade execution, portfolio management, and risk analysis. Build features with strong test coverage, collaborate across the technology stack, conduct code reviews, improve UI and UX, and contribute to architecture decisions. Work with real-time data, WebSockets, monorepo tooling, state management, monitoring, and AI-assisted development workflows. The role also involves REST and OpenAPI integration, automated testing, and performance improvements for data-intensive interfaces.

Develop and deliver full-stack Python enhancements for the Validus Horizon financial risk platform. Responsibilities include backend services, APIs, data pipelines, ETL integrations, frontend components, performance improvements, technical scoping, stakeholder collaboration, client presentations, and mentoring. The role requires ownership of concurrent initiatives and translating financial and operational requirements into scalable, reliable solutions.

Maintain financial records, ledgers, invoices, payments, reconciliations, credit cards, asset registers, and accounts payable and receivable. Support month-end and year-end close, payroll, VAT and regulatory returns, audits, and compliance with FCA regulations. The role assists the Senior Financial Controller while providing development alongside professional accounting studies.
